A bright light is very important when scanning your film. Halogen bulbs can burn film. You might remember your Dad's projector all of a sudden stopping and within seconds, the film would be melting on the screen. We certainly don't want to burn your film. Our equipment uses a cool to the touch LED bulb but with super bright intensity. A bright bulb is important when film scenes are dark. The darker the scene, the more the camera has to work to capture your film and this causes video noise. Our Super bright LED bulb results in a safer and cleaner film transfer.

Our Professional Film Scanner uses a low noise Ultra High Definition 2K camera focused directly on your films image frame. The scanned image is astoundingly feature rich with vibrant colors.

No Gates! Gates crop your film, we scan the entire frame from edge to edge.

We always scan in 2K to capture every
Dot of your film. Using lower resolutions will result in missing dots of the image which leads to a lower resolution image.

UHD 2K cameras capture the feature rich details from your film. Click the "+" for more information.

Frame by Frame Film capture! Each individual frame of your film reel gets scanned as an individual image.
This makes your film conversion feature rich in details!

Flicker Free!
Our digitized film conversion process is high contrast, has No hot spots, every frame is in focus and plays back at its original playback speed.

We don't use modified projectors like some of our competitors do, as they can scratch and damage your film. Our scanning equipment is specifically designed for Film Transfer and gently handles your film by the edges. No Sprockets or claws to tear your film, no glide path to scratch your film. Your film is safe with us.

A bright light is very important when scanning your film. Halogen bulbs are bright but they can burn your film. Our equipment uses a cool to the touch LED bulb with super bright intensity. A bright bulb is important when film scenes are dark. Without a super bright light, the camera has to increase gain and this causes video noise. Additional Information about our Film Scanning to Digital Process
convert 8mm film to digital | 8mm film to DVD

All 16mm, 8mm or Super 8mm film transfers begin with inspection and combining all small reels onto a larger reel. If inspection reveals that your film is broken or needs to be chemically cleaned & lubricated, this will be done at no extra charge. If your film is boxed, rarely played and is in pristine condition then we don’t subject it to chemicals if it just needs to be cleaned with a soft cloth. If you prefer the chemical cleaning no matter what, then let us know and we will clean and lubricate it.

We then scan your home movies with a professional, frame by frame film scanner that scans your film using a 2K camera and a high intensity LED light source. This combination and adjusting the settings specifically to your film, even the darkest scenes can be seen (Sorry, there's no magic if its too dark but we try). The 2K camera has extremely low noise so every scene, dark or light is captured with the minimal amount of noise. After the film is scanned it is then processed and all individual frames are then combined into a file and instructed to play at the correct film speed for your film. This is important because some competitors have capture equipment will play film back at an average speed and not the correct speed.

All all work is done on premises. Competitors, especially box stores like Walmart and Costco, send your film away to be processed using modified projectors to keep the cost down. This kind of film capture is not frame by frame and play at a slightly faster speed than normal to prevent flicker. As I stated above, our process will always playback you film at the correct film speed.

Silver Service

This is our best selling package and will be the best choice for most. You'll get all the great features listed above plus a DVD or Flash drive to store your converted digitized film. Digital files are MP4 and will be 720HD resolution. A DVD is lower resolution so the transfer will not have the same sheen as our digital HD files.

Gold Service

Our Gold package is definitely a step up from Silver. Starting with the resolution of you digitized file is now an amazing 2K! The digitized file is available as an MP4 file on a Flash drive or on a Blu-Ray disk. Blu-Ray is a slightly lower resolution of 1080HD but still very good if you want this format. Another added benefit of this package is the Neat filtering. This awesome filter will be applied to all sections of the film where there is a lot of film grain, this filter will clean it up and make it look better and more pleasing to watch. This is an amazing filter and will make it look like new video.
